tips for you to consider

Tires

You may want to consider Falken Wildpeak AT-3 next time you need a new tire. They have the aggressive look that you like but they are very quiet on the road. I ran them on my 4runner and can't sing their praises enough. Submitted by Audience Member,Darren Bak

Travel App

Do you know about the "US Public Lands" app? Sounds like it could have put your mind at ease. I use the Android version, but here's the link to the IOS version: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/us-public-lands/id723185418

External Security Camera

Get a security camera with infrared light, which would allow you to see in the dark, but the quality will vary depending upon the camera. I have used Reolink Argus 2 with their solar panel on the outside of my house.

Sewer Hose

A little hint for storage of a heavy duty sewer hose: I zip tied a Valterra Adjustable EZ Hose Carrier under the receiver hitch on my Travato 59KL. The hose stays out of the van, is quickly removed and replaced, and is located right at the tank drain valve

Air Conditioning

I found out from an AC repairman that the AC will cool better if you leave the rear vents open. It has to do with how the air circulates over the condensers. I have the same AC but a 9500 for our 1996 Dodge Coachman Saratoga. You can redirect the air back to the front or at least down to your bed by cutting up a rigid aluminum catering pan ( 99cent store or Walmart ) and sliding it between the plastic of your air regulater and ceiling.
